After a long time away i am now back. I am stillplaying videogames like crazy and since I only have one job I actually have time toplay them. Just got Fable 2 and Little bigplanet.

Fable 2 was great a little easy and then ending kind of sucked but over all I liked it alot and will be playing it for a long time.

As for little big planet I beat the story line in one sitting and now i have to go through it all again so I can unlock everything. The create a level is amazing. there is no other way to put it. I have been waiting for this for such a long time and it has lived up to all of what I had hoped ity would be.

Well my comp crashed yet again. While i was updating a game i was going to be beta testing. (age of connan. It decided to get a virus so I missed the 3 hr window I could play so I could erase my hard drive and re install everything. what a pain in the ass. but atleast it is working now. Hopefully they will have another time i could try it out.

This thing is one of the most odd things i have ever been part of. It is called a PMOG. Going to differ sites you can get differ missions depending on who put them there. you can lay traps and portals to other sites. you can level you character and buy stuff with the money for compleating missions. very cool and different.

I got Playstation games to work on my psp. Yay me. Now i get to play FF7 on the go. Just took about 5 hrs to figure out how to do it. I look at this stuff as more of a challenge to see if I could do it. So any ps1 games i want i can d/l(i don’t do that though) or get the disc. put it in my cd rom and put it on my hard drive as an ISO file then convert it to an eboot file and bam I can play it on the psp. Not saying any program names that i use though =)

I hate the natural programing language. After using q basic and visual basic I can not get the hang of this. It seems like I keep making stupid mistakes but it takes me so long to figure them out. Spelling is also a big issue with me. Damn World of Warcraft. That is what I blame my spelling on. But I get to listen to music so that helps me create a story. I notice that when creating I will get a different atmosphere in my head that I want portrayed in the story for the different types of music I listen to.

Well my hard drive died and i lost every thing on it. So there goes my IF7 project. Worked on it for a long time, I would say a good 10-15 hrs all gone. O well I now have a new larger hard drive. Guess i have to continue working on one. I started over and I am making a 100% new story.

Final Fantasy 7 would have to be one of my all time favorite games. Great story, great graphics (for its time… now it looks like ass), and the length of the game makes it amazing. So when Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core came out io bought it and all I can say is WOW. What a great game. I have just finished it but now I want to play FF7. Problem is I don’t have the time to sit down and play it. So i am trying to get it on my psp. I have the game itself but now I have to do a bunch of stuff just to get it to work.

Yea i havn’t done one of these in a long time. Been very busy. Two jobs (45-55hrs a week) and then school full time doesn’t leave me much time to do much of anything. But there is something cool at my new job. It is voice equipment. It tells you where to go and how many of a certain thing to get( I am a pallet selector for perishables at Buzzuto’s) and then you talk to it to tell it an item verification and you also tell it how many you took and what pallet you put it on. Before they implemented this they had to read stickers and that was all they had. yay for technology.

Hypertext assignment

I started this project(hypertext project) with very little knowledge of it. The only physical part is what I have from class, but i ended up not using any of it. Then i started one in story space and found out that there is a file size limit on the demo. It worked up to 12 spaces and to me that isn’t enough to make a decent hyper text story. So now I am on hypertextopia. Basically to go from space to space I just picked one word and then described the coralation of the selected word and the subject of the box. Some are short and funny like a joke type deal. My method to create this is to be almost making a very short but increadably detailed story. And from a little story you will get to know the person(main character) very well and where they came from and where they may be heading. Most of the people I made in my hyper text are friends. It was the most basic thing i could do to make it more believable for my self. As I go further i would like to create an almost drama situation between the characters. For example say that Carl is seeing someone other than his wife, and that gets said in tear1 of his story. and then later on in tier 7 of Lisa’s story say that she is seeing a guy but she thinks that he is hiding something. Then in Jackie’s story say that Carl is her husband in tier 15. So to get the full effect of the entire hyper text story you will have to read everyones story but if you read just one you will be able to get a small snip of the over all drama.In conclusion I started hyper texting with a dislike for it over all. Now although i dislike reading it, I like writing it. I like being able to read one story and get it all in one shot and not being afraid I missed something by not reading something. But I love the posibilitys of hypertext by reavealing information at difrent stages of the story. When I had trouble would try to figure it out but when I got stuch for more than 30min such as story space I would email Steve Ersinghau.
